yess. im back from LTC at pulau ubin!
haha.
i guess i never regretted going for this camp afterall.
at least i learnt sth. experienced stuff not everyone got a chance to.
not gonna type out wad happened during the camp bah. it's too much to type.
haha.
the whole camp only got 2 female helpers lar. me and sherilyn.
lol. first time i go camp with ALL guys. only 1 girl companion. sad right.
haha. but hanging out with the guys were fun too.
the camp was ok lar. alot of last minute changes but it was still relatively ok.
jan and XJ did a good job as CC and ACC.
it's not easy running a camp laa. especially training camps. lol.
the camp kinda reminded me of the days in red cross. haha. all the training camps we had.
did almost exactly the same thing laa. kena tekan. pack and unpack. pitch and unpitch tent. survivor cooking. not bathing!
the campers were.. not that strong mentally bah. i think? haha. i dunno.
but they survived the camp after all. congrats! (:

first day...
we had one camper down cos she had some face allergy. so she decided to go home. haha. like seriously there's NOTHING we can do cos we dont have the medicine to help her then she keep complaining and complaining. cry and cry. so we decided it was better to just send her home.
yepp.
so i was the night hero for the first day together with ferguson and weishan.
didnt sleep the whole night cos had to follow the campers to their campsite and take care of them laa. walked so much and got so many dogss!!! lol. scared laa.
then next morning hike back to the main campsite again.
weishan walked damn fast. haha. until me and ferg keep lagging behind for some particular reason. lol. everytime we catch up we will unknowingly lag behind again. until they stop. haha. but both of us never slow down. we kept the same pace throughout the whole walk. HAHAHA.
lack of sleep laa.
went back to our campsite and managed to sleep for 2 hrs. before our tent got too hot to sleep. haha. so i gave up trying to sleep cos was feeling too itchy and too hot.
lol.
second day..
the campers could not take it anymore.
they were too tired and really could not move on so we decided to let them camp at our campsite. so no more playing of night hero. lol. yayy. if not it'ss be another sleepless night again.
haha.
third day..
went to sleep at around 4am at the jetty. and it was so bloody cold.
the wind was so freezing laa. until i could feel my teeth jittering. and it was raining!
lol. we were wet la.
fourth day..
woke up at 6am i tink? and couldnt take the freezing wind at the jetty anymore. haha. i just wanted to get out of that place asap. lol.
so me sherilyn and gavin went back to campsite first. so yeah.
last day didnt do much cos it was raining. so we just packed up and went back to SINGAPORE!!
woohoo. was walking in the rain. fun laa. LOL.
realised i never mentioned anything that happened in the day?
haha. cos me and sherilyn were medics of the camp. so we were not in charge of any activity. we kinda just spent the whole day slacking around. cos the campers were relatively fine. no major injuries or anything. so we were just on stand by all the time. haha.
oh yeah. i forgot to mention.
WE HAD 4 DAYS OF
INSTANT NOODLE. baked beans. corns. mushrooms and
sardines.omg laa. for every meal!! *faints*
so yes.
finally reached home. bathed and slept immediately.
lol. so tired.
on the way home i almost fell asleep on the train while standing.
and everytime i close my eyes. guess wad appeared in my mind...
UBIN. grass. insects. the campers. jan and xj.
wth right. lol.
this is the first time i go for smit event without any close friends laa.
haha. never thought i would attend a smit event without chunhui or vick. especially not a camp.
but i survived even without them! haha.
